Her dedication paid off as she learned top placements at prestigious competitions like the Ohio Star Ball and United States Dance Championships (USDC)—even securing first place honors in several divisions. Tatum’s versatility has made her stand out not only as a partnered ballroom dancer but as a solo competitor as well. She’s taken home top awards in national competitions such as Showstopper and In10sity, further proving her ability to command the stage, whether she’s dancing with a partner or owning the spotlight alone.

Her list of mentors reads like a ballroom dream—she has trained with icons like Shirley Ballas, Lacey Schwimmer, and other world champions, soaking in wisdom and refining her craft with every step. But Tatum isn’t limited to ballroom; her passion has led her to pursue jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and commercial dance, giving her an artistic range that matches her ambition.

Tatum has also shined in corporate performances, dancing for brands like WebMD and Caesars Palace, and was a headliner at Millennium Dancesport’s 25th Anniversary Gala—a milestone event celebrating some of the most talented dancers in the industry. In 2023, she took her career to the next level by joining Menina Fortunato’s Business of Dance mentorship program, where she’s gained career tools, industry insight, and mentorship from some of the top professionals in the entertainment world.

As a model and actress, she has worked with major brands like Weissman Dancewear, and most notably graced the cover of Senior Style Guide—a highlight that reflects her poise both on stage and in front of the camera.
