Every young model, dancer or aspiring actor requires a standout headshot. An ideal headshot should capture your authentic smile and personality. Clean backgrounds, understated clothing, and simple hair with no makeup are vital components for creating a memorable headshot. Essentially, the headshot should reflect how you or your child looks when walking into a casting – no surprises.

To showcase your versatility to agents and casting directors, it's recommended to have multiple shots. Ideally, aim for at least two distinct looks for headshots. The first look should be simple and cheerful, capturing a natural, smiling expression. For this, the you/your child can wear a t-shirt, with no makeup, and their hair styled as it would be on any typical day. The second look is intended to be more dramatic, featuring a thoughtful or slightly sad expression. Consider styling the hair differently and perhaps adding a jacket or cardigan to introduce texture and variety.

Given the regular changes in a child's appearance, we recommend updating headshots every 12-18 months to ensure they accurately portray child's current look.

At our studio, we understand the power of looking and feeling your best during a photoshoot. While professional makeup isn't mandatory for children and teens under 12, we highly recommend it for girls aged 15 and above.

Commercial Portraits

For roles in commercials and more lighthearted productions, commercial portraits are the go-to choice. These shots exude warmth and approachability, featuring genuine smiles and relaxed poses. Soft colors and natural makeup enhance the friendly vibe, while subtle nuances in attire and background effortlessly complement your eyes and overall look, making you stand out to casting directors seeking that perfect commercial face.

Dramatic Portraits

In the world of theater, television, and film, nothing speaks volumes like a captivating dramatic portrait. These shots delve deep into the layers of an actor's persona, capturing emotional depth and complexity. Unlike commercial headshots, dramatic portraits aim to reveal the raw essence of a character, showcasing a range of emotions and expressions that leave a lasting impression on casting directors.

What to expect Post-Session?

Following your session, anticipate receiving an exclusive link to your personalized watermarked online gallery within 7 to 10 days. This digital platform allows you to select images.

For the final touches, once you select images what you want (what included in your package) I will retouch your headshots to ensuring they truly stand out from the crowd.

If you want to retouch more headshots you can do so for a fee of $25.00 each.
